NONACRIS

The company name NONACRIS is an ancient Greek word which means Nine Heights. The number nine was sacred to the Nine Heliconian Muses in Greek mythology, the nine goddesses who presided over the arts.

At NONACRIS, we design our frames in the spirit of the ancient craftsmen, that is we use symbols and ornamentation with a purpose. All our frames have a theme and history behind it.

Apart from classical themes, we also use contemporary and natural themes.

Our production system puts a great emphasis on the environment. We use recycled materials whenever possible. Our coating system, for example, is 60% water-based, which is far more environmentally-friendly than solvent-based.
